Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
Now a movie from DC finally enters the stage as it plans to knockout Marvel. It may be a long shot, but it’s worth a try, now that Green Lantern is one of the most anticipated movies of the year.
Cocky airman Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) feels he can conquer the sky, and he did. He always excelled in flying planes, and it’s one of his greatest assets. Though rough on the outside, Hal has a heart for service—and that’s why the ring of a dying green lantern that landed on earth chose him to become one of them.
Now that Hal has the ring and swore to be a protector of the universe against anything and anyone evil, he now joins forces with all the other green lanterns to stop what is predicted to destroy galaxies and any other civilization that exists anywhere.
Cars 2 featuring the voices of Owen Wilson and Michael Caine
Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) are on the road to join and hopefully win the European Grand Prix. While their minds are fixed to bagging that prestigious cup, they get tangled in another challenge: a conspiracy among other cars that just might give them the adventure they never thought they would have.
Cars 2 does not have the classic car Doc Hudson (the mayor of Radiator Springs) in it because the voice that gave it life has already passed away. Though Disney has not given a confirmation if Doc would be visible in another sequel (if there will be a Cars 3), the producer and director say that they have no qualms about getting a sounds-alike voice for Doc Hudson, if a reappearance is needed in the story.
The Beaver starring Mel Gibson and Directed by Jodi Foster
The Beaver is a new take on depression and by far, seeing the trailer, it will be a success. Walter Black (Mel Gibson) is a depressed husband and father that was kicked out of the house by his wife. Soon he finds a puppet called “The Beaver” and lives his life through it. He then bounces back and recovers what he lost—his family, his career, his emotional balance. But later on backslides and is now caught between being himself, or The Beaver.
